142 perfectly groomed slopes and 58 lifts of the latest generation - that alone awaits you in Mayrhofen-Hippach. Our 2 local mountains, the action mountain Penken and Genießerberg-Ahorn promise fun on the slopes for the whole family. Numerous specials such as the steepest slope in Europe - the Harakiri - complete the offer.

The fun begins with a hike through the snow-covered Zillertal and leads over a hearty stop at one of our quaint mountain huts directly to the toboggan run. Once you get there, the wild ride on your toboggan into the valley can begin.

In addition to skiing, snowboarding, winter hiking and tobogganing, there is also a wide range of activities in Mayrhofen-Hippach. Starting with the classic snowshoe hike, freeriding, building an igloo, ice climbing and tandem flights from the ski area, there is a lot for adrenaline junkies.

The only year-round ski area in Austria is only a few minutes' drives from our house in Hintertux. Regardless of whether it is skiing pleasure in the winter months, summer skiing or extensive hiking and mountain tours - the Hintertux Glacier offers everything a mountaineer's heart desires. The valley station of the mountain railway can be easily reached by car or the ski and hiking buses. Dairy products of the highest quality are produced in Mayrhofen-Hippach and offered to our locals and guests. The Zillertal hay milk, known far beyond the national borders, our grey cheese and many other products shine with the highest quality and are made exclusively from resources from the Zillertal. In the adventure dairy, you can see the manufacturing process, buy products directly from the farm and take a walk through the farm to gain an insight into agriculture.

Mayrhofen has the highest bird of prey stadium in Europe. On the Adlerbühne am Ahorn, 2,200m above sea level, you can see eagle owls, falcons and buzzards live in action. The arena created in harmony with nature offers you the perfect overview.

The Swarovski Crystal Worlds - always a reason to be amazed. In 2015 Swarovski expanded the crystal adventure world and the associated garden again and now offers 5 underground chambers of wonder, designed by international designers, in addition to the world-famous garden.

The iconic giant and the heart of the garden, the crystal cloud, make your day perfect. The crystal cloud is 1,600 m² in size and has been filled with approx. 600,000 Swarovski crystals - a mystical masterpiece.

Zillertal High Road is one of the most beautiful high alpine roads in Europe. With a trip up to 2,020m above sea level, you can explore the wonderful Zillertal Alps. The whole thing is possible with your own car, the regular bus or for sporty people also with thee- or mountain bike.

No matter how you want to start your tour, an unforgettable day full of great impressions and memories awaits you. Of course, there are also plenty of places to stop for refreshments in one of our rustic alpine huts along the Höhenstraße.
